Once in a great while, an opportunity comes along to “meld” leading edge technology with “old school construction.” One such opportunity is here now with ProTech, a web-based construction management software, putting Doyle Construction Inc. (DCI) on the leading edge in the construction industry.
We currently have two projects “on” ProTech. The advantages we have experienced so far include lower costs, improved communication/coordination and one complete online source for all project information. The features we like best include:

3. Document management: All 0f our documents are stored in ProTech forever. This allows us to manage the project while ProTech manages the communication and paperwork. It's simple and saves precious resources — time, money and personnel.
4. Capacity: We have an unlimited number of users on every project.
5. Data safety: ProTech takes care of I.T. management and storage. All data is safe and secure using the latest in security and encryption solutions. Plus, all data is stored with multiple mirror drives in three different time zones.
Like anything new, we’re still learning how to use it and fully utilize all of the available features. The good news is that we have an enormous amount of training/mentoring/coaching help in Jeff Brook, ProTech’s president. Jeff is available 24/7 to us for training, questions or challenges.
